This video celebrates the ethos that drives Defiant Whisky to create its specially crafted American single malt whisky in the mountains of North Carolina.,

My role/ contribution:
After spending time with the company’s founder and researching their process and philosophy, I wrote the script and pitched my vision for the video. As director, I worked closely with the producer to plan the shoot and cast the actors, and collaborated with cinematographer Kent Willard to craft the look and feel. I stayed on the project as its creative director, overseeing all elements of post production until final delivery. We screened the film for our clients in a vintage movie theatre in downtown Raleigh, NC, while enjoying pizza and—what else?—Defiant Whisky!
